Life since graduation sucks. But Im gonna take matters into my own hands and live the life I want. Let me explain:
I graduated with 2 job offers in Kentucky and one in Australia. Australia was too expensive and not really what I wanted to do, and the Kentucky people wanted me to do minimum wage mexican work. NOPE. I kept looking around online, and I stumbled across a "quarterhorse breeding facility in need of a manager". Sounded pretty good. Looks can be decieving. They flew me down, i worked a few days, I went home and called them up and took the job. Packed my truck and drove 1100 miles to Florida. WOOPEE.Well, like I said, not what i expected. my job-> live-in nanny for 22 horses. Really? AAAND I got crappy pay. My boss was an asshole- always coming down to the barn in a bad mood, quick to yell and get upset, everything had to be his way. Walked all over me and personally, I think he really beat me down mentally :/ I have an $80,000 degree... what do I do with it now? Be someone's slave? I don't think so. So when my knees gave out from all my hard work, I thanked God and used it as an escape route back to Jersey. Now I'm waiting on Doctors and looked for a desk job because the only work out there for someone with a degree in equine science is mexican work : (
